Emad Ghaly is the CEO of Siemens Egypt, effective July 01, 2016. During his 21-year tenure at Siemens, he has held various managerial positions in Europe and the Middle East. Based in Cairo, Ghaly was most recently Senior Executive Vice President for Wind and Renewables for Siemens in the Middle East, and for Power and Gas for Siemens in Egypt, overseeing a wide range of business segments, services and technologies.
Between 2008 and 2011, Ghaly served as President of Renewable Energy and Oil and Gas for Siemens in Egypt. In 2006, Ghaly was appointed as Senior Vice President Head of Corporate Strategy and Government Affairs for Siemens in Egypt, focusing on growth areas and developing new opportunities in the market.
Prior to this tenure, Ghaly served as Director of Regional Sales Northern and Western Europe – from 2004 through 2006 – where he contributed to developing the company’s business in several countries across Europe including Germany, the UK, Ireland and Netherlands.
Mostafa El-Bagoury (40) was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Siemens in Egypt August 2016. As CFO, El-Bagoury will lead financial operations in Egypt, overseeing the accounting; business support; financial planning and analysis; treasury; risk and internal control; information technology as well as tax functions.
El-Bagoury brings over 20 years of financial and commercial experience to the position. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Finance for Power and Gas; Power Generation Services and Energy Transmission for Siemens in Egypt, and for Wind Power and Renewables for the company in the Middle East.
In 2008, while serving as Head of Corporate Governance for Siemens in Egypt, El-Bagoury held the position of Performance Controller for the company in the Middle East, where he helped drive the business in the region by providing reliable financial results as a key driver for business success.
El-Bagoury started his career with Siemens as Financial Controller in Egypt, in 2003. Since then, he accumulated a unique array of business units’ experience and held various leadership positions, including Head of Near Middle East Audit Pool.
Prior to joining Siemens, he served as the Manager of El-Bagoury Audit Firm – from 2001 through 2003 – where he applied the financial strategies and tools that ultimately turned the business around.
An Egyptian national, El-Bagoury earned his degree in Commerce and Business Administration from Helwan University, and his CPA certified in the State of California, US.
